Our Mission

Engage our church, community, and world with the Living Hope of Jesus Christ.

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.

Matthew 28:18-20, ESV

Engage our church…

  • Intentionally meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the local body
  • Facilitate connection and maturity through small groups, discipleship, and events
  • Train, equip, and empower disciples who make disciples

Engage our neighbors & local community…

  • Meet people where they are with grace, truth, love, and action
  • Welcome the broken and hurting – meeting physical, emotional, and spiritual needs authentically
  • Present the gospel unashamedly

Engage our world…

  • Be aware, informed and involved – but Christ centric – not political
  • Be intentional with resources – time, talent, and treasure
  • Further the great commission by becoming a sending church

Our Purpose

We exist to exalt and enjoy God in all things.

I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever. Psalm 86:12, NIV

Our Core Values

Grace

We recognize our own brokenness and extend grace to others who are also broken.

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,

Ephesians 2:8, ESV

Truth

We uphold the truth of Scripture as the sole authority as we wrestle with the complexities of life and walk alongside the hurting.

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

2 Timothy 3:16-17, ESV

Action

We are intentional doers of the Word and not hearers only.

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

James 1:22, ESV

Love

We desire to be known by our love (in word and deed) – not for what we are against.

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples if you have love for one another.

1 John 1:3, ESV

Our Beliefs

WE BELIEVE

the Bible is the inspired word of God. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable in our everyday lives.

WE BELIEVE

in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

WE BELIEVE

that sin has separated each of us from God and as a result we are spiritually dead and unable to please Him.

WE BELIEVE

that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life. He will return again someday as our victorious Lord.

WE BELIEVE

that in order to receive forgiveness of sins and be restored to God for eternal life we must believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as He is revealed in the Bible.

WE BELIEVE

the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity is active in the world convicting of sin, indwelling all who believe in Jesus and empowering them for His service.

WE BELIEVE

in the power and significance of the Church and the necessity of believers to meet regularly together for fellowship, prayer, and communion.

WE BELIEVE

that Satan is real and active in the world. He is in opposition to God’s redemptive work through Jesus Christ and will be fully defeated at the second coming of Jesus.

WE BELIEVE

that baptism is expected for every believer and that through immersion into water we demonstrate our faith and obedience while depicting our union with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection.

WE BELIEVE

that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. We are therefore called to value all human life. Because we believe in the sacred and intrinsic value of all mankind, we affirm that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity.

Psalm 139

WE BELIEVE

that God ordained marriage as a lifelong union between one man and one woman.  Those who accept and live within God’s design for sex, biological gender, and marriage experience the blessing of His good design.  Any attempts to change, alter, or modify God’s will in marriage, sex, or gender are part of man’s brokenness.

Psalm 1:1-3; 128:1-4 – Genesis 2:18; Matthew 19:4-9; Ephesians 5:31-33 – Romans 1:21-22; James 1:13-15
